About
The PTO
The Empowerment Academy's PTOs mission is to create and sustain close relationships between our parents, teachers, and students. We aim to promote communication and cultivate a sense of community between parents, students, and faculty. We aim to achieve these goals by hosting monthly meetings and school-based family activities. Studies show that parent participation is directly correlated with student performance.

President's Welcome
Hello Empowerment Community, my name is Christina, mother of two empowerment academy scholar's. A Video Editor by day, I’m looking forward to my fourth year on the PTO Board as President and building on the foundation of those who led the Organization before me. Each year I’ve seen the PTO gain momentum and in this 4th year my mission is to continue enriching the Empowerment experience for families, scholars, teachers and staff. To make this happen I’d love to hear from you! Speak out. Be involved. There is no amount of saying or doing that is too much or too little. I’m looking forward to working with you to make this 2021/2022 year the most memorable yet!
Goals
The PTO works hard with school leadership to enhances our children's educational environment. We want to support teachers and students by raising funds for educational materials, field trips, innovative instructional support, and technology.
